Summary:

Maziac create a maze for the listener to find their new single 'Stoic', taken from new album Test Of Time.

Welcome to Maziac from Planetmosh, a new band to me who have won me over immediately with their single ‘Stoic’, taken from a forthcoming studio album Test Of Time, due for release in the summer.

The self titled “Eclectic London based alt/prog metal 3-piece” kick out the jams full throttle, putting the power in power trio with ease with a ridiculously tight delivery. First thing that grabbed my attention was the inventive drum patterns, providing a solid backbone for guitar and bass that pummel with glee for an axe attack par excellence around cleanly sung verses. Instrumental sections are breathtaking in their precision, heading towards an ethereal midsection, picking up pace for a full on, armageddon inducing death metal outro. Job well and truly done, and I look forward to hearing more from these guys.
