Summary:

Gypsy's Kiss raise the roof as they release a brand new single 'We've Come To Play', taken from a forthcoming studio album this summer!

Welcome back once more to Gypsy’s Kiss, formed in the East End of London in early 1974 by Iron Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris and vocalist David Smith, but unfortunately disbanded in late 1975 for Steve to form Iron Maiden. Thankfully, Gypsy’s Kiss reformed in March 2018 to play Burrfest in London and have just released a brand new single ‘We’ve Come To Play’, first single taken from a forthcoming studio album due for release in the summer of 2024 to celebrate their 50th anniversary!

‘We’ve Come To Play’ is how heavy metal should be played, as raw as you can get it, blasted out by a backline that could take out the front few rows when played live. A calm before the storm keyboard intro heads off into a four minute hefty riffer, peppered with melodic touches, fretboard burning mayhem, all topped off by lyrics delivered straight from the heart, portraying their dedication to the cause!

Gypsy’s Kiss band personnel :-

David Smith proclaims “A 50th anniversary for Gypsy’s Kiss – who would have thought in 1974, that a raw 19 year old long haired ‘would be’ musician from East London would still be playing, writing and releasing music after 50 years with top notch musicians and to large and enthusiastic audiences in the UK and Europe? Not me! I couldn’t be more surprised, thrilled and delighted. Long may it continue!”
