Welcome back Troy Redfern, the cowboy lonesome on the trail, point proven by his latest single,‘The Strange’, taken from forthcoming studio album Invocation, the third single lifted from the eleven track album and bodes well, judging by its in your face ferocity!
It’s definitely one of his heaviest songs, musically, lyrically and comes with an eye popping video. Powerchord after powerchord heads towards irate choruses, backed by a rock solid rhythm section as Troy squeezes in a short but sweet guitar solo in before the full on outro. Job done!
Troy proclaims, “The Strange is about the realisation that a relationship is falling apart in slow motion. Despite how difficult it may seem to break away. It’s about the sense that life is slipping by an ever – present feeling.”
