Taken from their latest album Finest Ramshackle Jam, Thirteen Stars tug at our heart strings with their latest single ‘Keep Calm And Carry On’. It comes with a fan featured video who sent photos and videos to accompany the band performing.
It’s one of the more laid back tracks on the album. In fact, if it was any more laid back, it would be horizontal as the riffs mesh with a rhythm section of bluesy bass guitar and snappy snare work.
The throaty drawled vocals from Hoss Thompson are delivered as if he’d been out on a session with Lemmy which adds more drama to the song. At the end of the day, it’s a real feel-good song though to keep our spirits up!
