Welcome back Blackpool, Lancashire, formed in 2004 terrors, self proclaimed “Punk Rock N Roll” The Senton Bombs as they deliver a new single ‘Retro Boy’,available from all digital outlets, recently released via Regolith Records, and also comes with an official lyric video.
To these ears (what’s left of them), it’s one of their heaviest songs, not just the music, but also the thought provoking lyrics, delivered with a snarl from Joey Class, easing off during melodic choruses. It flexes its muscles for four minutes of raucous riffing, earworm guitar fills and solos, bass heavy bombast and kick down the doors kick drums.
‘Retro Boy’ comes from ‘The Outsiders’ album sessions in 2018, originally entitled ‘Retrogression’, but it didn’t make the final cut due to sequencing, but always intended to unleash ‘Retro Boy’. It’s part of several unreleased tracks that the band will be launching throughout 2024.
