Summary:

A metal fountain of youth perfectly describes the up and coming band, Twitch's Rats!

At the end of the day, rock and roll should not really be rocket science, just plug in and blast it out, point proven by Nantwich, Cheshire based rockers ‘Twitch’s Rats’, who have just released a brand new single ‘Shot Down’, available on all major streaming platforms.

I recently saw them at a local gig at The Raven in Crewe, on a supposedly sedate Sunday night, but it was far from that as the fiery five piece band definitely shook the foundations with a confidence that belied their ages. Easily a case of youth gone wild, and to quote Ted Nugent, “If it’s too loud, you’re too old!”

In three mindblowing three minutes, they rock out with an instantly memorable and headbanging main riff, vocals that are delivered with a Jagger swagger, pinned down by snappy snare work, sturdy bass prowess. an air guitar inducing solo and a catchier than an STD verse of “Your love is a drug, you give me all that I need, I think I wanted too much but I was, shot down on my knees”.
