Orange County, California based rockers Robert Jon & The Wreck return to give 2024 a hefty start to the year, as they release a brand new single ‘Red Moon Rising’, taken from a forthcoming studio album of the same name released on June 28th via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records. The single bodes well for the album as I think it’s one of the most captivating songs they’ve penned. It’s a six minute party starting and finishing lowdown and dirty, lean, mean, rock and roll machine of a song!

They dish out a big slice of sultry soul with balls to, courtesy of chiming guitar chords , prog rock segments that include funky bass guitar belligerence and the vocals are dished out preacher style.

The band proclaim, “Red Moon Rising’ is about all the beliefs, myths and traditions throughout the World and ages in response to a red moon. They all had a similar belief that it represents rebirth and change for us. It seemed like the perfect title track for our new record, adding a new chapter to our story and marking a new age of the band!”

Band personnel :-

Robert Jon Burrison – Lead Vocals/Guitar.

Andrew Espantman – Drums/Backing Vocals.

Warren Murrel – Bass Guitar.

Jake Abernathie – Keyboards.
