Summary:

Hold on to your hearing as Robert Jon & The Wreck break the sound barrier with their brand new single 'Hold On'.

Beginning in 2011, Orange County, California rockers Robert Jon & The Wreck flex their muscles for their latest single ‘Hold On’. They proclaim,” It’s a powerful, classic rock track that hits close to the heart for touring musicians like us, pondering how long we can hold on to this life on the road”.

Released by Joe Bonamassas’s Journeyman Records, and produced by Kevin Shirley, to my ears, it’s a raw, dirt under the fingernails, four fretboard burning minutes of rock and roll heaven. The main riff could stop a charging rhino at sixty paces, but also displays a lighter side of beautiful melodies, especially from the honey soaked lead vocals, that also bite down hard. It’s all pinned down precisely by a watertight rhythm section, and a raw as you like it outro wailing guitar solo to end this bombastic single!
