Parker Barrow, another contender of mine that makes me say,“Where have this band been all my life?” Somehow they have slipped passed my radar as this Nashville based, blues infused Southern Rockers are not just the real deal but the whole deck of cards, point proven by their latest single, ‘Make It’. The song title captures their future goal, which surely won’t take long as it’s Southern Rock with balls, riffing along with a glint in its eye as three minutes cannot contain the sheer power and poise as dual guitar overload is fretboard melting fury that blazes away over a party starting and finishing rhythm section, all wrapped up by the stratospheric height reaching vocals of lead singer Megan Kane, a range of which i’ve not heard for quite some time. Absolutely stunning!
Parker Barrow will embark on their first-ever UK in July and will play Chester, Live Rooms (July 17), Nottingham, The Bodega (July 18), and London, The Grace (July 19), and Maid of Stone Festival (July 20).

Parker Barrow took their name from the infamous 1930’s bank robbers Bonnie & Clyde (aka Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow), who made headlines from 1931-1934 during American’s Great Depression. In 1967, the film “Bonnie & Clyde,” starring Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway & Gene Hackman, was nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including “Best Picture.”
Parker Barrow’s debut album Jukebox Gypsies (2023) featured prominently on “Best of 2023” lists. Their compelling vintage sound contains elements of rock, southern rock, blues, and soul; but the band’s brand of music is unmistakably and distinctly their own.
The band commands an impressive mix of old and new influences threaded throughout their distinctive sound that includes the Allman Brothers, the Black Crowes, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin.
