Cheshire based power pop punkers Chasing The Fall, in such a short length of time have progressed what we already knew, throwing out handfuls of boisterous singles, all topped off by an all guns blazing, 5 track EP, but now the shit hits the fan as they hit us hard and emotionally heavy, with recently released single, ‘The Show’. It’s faultless, absolutely faultless, as these four firebrand minutes pour out their attitude. A calm before the storm intro to the first minute sets the scene as lead vocalist Andy Mac lets loose a full on tirade, hitting stratospheric height vocals to capture the solitude
A brief touch of grace comes from bass guitarist /backing vocalist Becki Todd, adding her thudding bass lines and sugar sweet vocals. Drummer Matty Burdett gives us a Tasmanian Devil like performance to shake your foundations, giving us a tour de force blink and you’ll miss it around his kit.
It all seems to fly away too soon as lead guitarist Phil ‘Pip’ McMullin’ closes it all on a heartbreaking solo as the silence is shattering. This is only my opinion but I think this will catapult them to greater heights, especially when they play selected USA, 2026 dates in February/March.
