King of the Dead drop Halloween video

Menacing alternative types, KING OF THE DEAD, return with a hypnotic reworking of the 80’s classic, Easy Lover, which features Joel Peters from Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons. The ominous dark lords have placed their trademark sinister stamp all over the track whilst retaining the essence of the song’s undeniable draw. The single and video are out now:

The mysterious alt-rockers have developed a hearty reputation for creating music that is thought-provoking, theatrical, and profoundly intriguing. Always looking to progress and break through to new worlds, KING OF THE DEAD are as enigmatic as they are progressive. The posse’s current EP, Perdition, was produced by Lasse Lammert (Alestorm) and saw the band meld seventies’ rock radio and engaging punk rock, with absorbing organ work, and magnificent refrains. The record acquired the backing of Powerplay Magazine, Primordial Radio, Fireworks Magazine, and ERB Magazine. The EP also birthed a raft of singles: When It All Comes DownThe Sermon For The Cursed and Who’s Left To Blame  . All tracks racked up global radio airplay and prominent support from Total Rock, ERB, Hard Rock Hell, and Kerrang! Radio, with Alex Baker from Kerrang! giving The Sermon For The Cursed his esteemed track/artist of the week award.

KING OF THE DEAD remark about the single: “Easy Lover is the ultimate duet. We cursed ones are glad that we were able to collaborate with Joel Peters, from Phil Campbell and The Bastard Sons, to put together our macabre take on this classic song. Joel’s voice blends perfectly with our cursed sounds to take you deep into the dark heart of this most evil track.” The song was produced by Ben Turk from Gloryhammer, and it twists and worms itself into your soul. With live performances and further spellbinding content on the way, the journey is just beginning for KING OF THE DEAD……
