Summary:

Insane grinding crust powerviolence and everything inbetween. Have your senses annihilated with these short sharp bursts of insanity

Jesus CrUntitled-1ost are a 2 piece grind machine from the Netherlands who started life back in 1996 as a crustcore project. This is their 4th full length based upon the abhorrent subject of football. The album is based around the 1986 world cup final and whatever was special about it. That set aside what you have on display here is a mish mash of styles going from brutal death metal into grind and a touch of powerviolence and crust thrown in for good measure. The songs are all named after all the players in the cup final and there are no songs longer than 2 minutes. In these short blasts of insanity there is an amazing amount of riffs crammed in, insane time changes with stops, cymbal catches and turnarounds in the songs that will make your head spin. It is a harsh listen; however very compelling, you just don’t know what is coming next, there is nothing straight forward about this album. If you took Today is the Day’s – In the Eyes of God album and upped the ante you would be coming close to the chaos of this album. Do not let the 2 piece idea discourage checking this out; the sound is full and rambunctious and will please all sorts of extreme music fans even if they hate football.
