Hell’s addiction – Raise your glass

hells addiction - raise your glassLeicester band Hell’s Addiction formed in 2010 with members from other local bands – De Sade, Dirty Cocktail, and Forgotten Sun.  Musically it’s good heavy rock and roll that will appeal to fans of Zodiac Mindwarp, Voodoo six, Airbourne and more.

Brief comments on a few tracks..

Opening track ‘Feels like Rock n Roll’ gets the album off to a great start. This is definitely a song that I’d like to hear played live – I’m sure it’s one that would go down superbly well with a crowd.

‘Alcohol’ is the first single from the album and has been used as the intro music for Scott Ledger’s ‘Dangerous coversations’ show in the US.  As with every other song on the album its a good heavy high energy song.  Check out the video at the bottom of this review and hear it for yourself.

Title track ‘Raise your glass’ is a great track; lots of energy, a strong chorus and some good heavy guitar riffs.  Fans of Airbourne will love this song.

An excellent album – good heavy rock and roll.  This is music to get drunk and party to.  It’s albums like this one that make reviewing so enjoyable – putting a CD on from a band you’ve not heard of before and being blown away by great music is a fantastic feeling.
