Extreme metal ghouls CRADLE OF FILTH return to European stages this autumn, starting October 1 in Paris. Led by inimitable, iconic frontman Dani Filth, CRADLE OF FILTH will visit 22 cities across 12 different countries, accompanied by blackgaze pioneers Alcest and Naraka.

The far-reaching tour climaxes on Saturday, October 29th at London’s indigo at The O2 where CRADLE OF FILTH will celebrate Halloween as only they can, with a spooktacular, not-to-be-missed event titled The Monstrous Sabbat – an evening of fiendish tricks and treats. Proceedings will comprise a wicked set of eldritch fan-favourites and new songs alike, taken from their highly lauded new record, Existence Is Futile.

The event is followed by an official After Party set to run deep into the night, by Voodoo London; a unique rock metal rave/party with a festival style atmosphere with performances from Alice Bizarre, Sophie Storm, Aima Indigo, Sarah Blackmilk and Miss Fortune. The preparatory conjurations have begun and the blood oath is settled… secure your spot at this most auspicious occasion here.

A limited number of VIP packages for The Monstrous Sabbat are available to purchase here.  The package includes early entry to the show, band meet & greet, photo op, laminate, lanyard, and entry to the after party (until 6 am).

Dani Filth declares, “We are extremely excited to be touring Europe again after the horrid pandemic in support of our latest album and with a brand new themed stage show to blast it from. The shows promise to be extremely visual and visceral, with two great support bands joining us in the shape of Alcest and Naraka, to bolster the delivery of this nocturnal extravaganza.

Come join us then in a dark musical ritual this October, on the noisome crawl to All Hallows’ Eve and our annual Monstrous Sabbat, this year blackening the skies above The O2 at indigo at The O2.

See you vulgar ghouls out on the open road.

Filth!!!!!”

Positioned firmly at the top of the extreme black metal genre, CRADLE OF FILTH reign supreme as one of the most revered, formative and notorious names in the scene, and are undeniably responsible for breaking ground for many of today’s top metal artists with their trademark mixture of grim blackened heaviness, macabre theatricality and scintillating gothic style. The rule of Filth began in 1991, followed by the unleashing of 1994’s The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh – humble beginnings that expanded into cinematic classics like Cruelty And The Beast and Midian.

The band’s unyielding international touring schedule has garnered them a massive following both in the cult underground and at the top of the mainstream, defying trends while staying true to their roots. More recent offerings such as 2015’s Hammer Of The Witches and 2017’s Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay continued to bolster the unremitting legacy of Filth, until the band, along with the rest of the universe, was abruptly halted by the global pandemic in 2020. But, as is evident by the staggering response from their devoted legion of followers, that time was put to good use, spurring the emergence of the band’s latest, breathtakingly heavy offering, 2021’s Existence Is Futile. The album debuted at #20 on the Billboard 200 with Hard Rock Genre, on the Hard Music Albums charts at #4 in the US and #5 in Canada, #9 on the German Album charts, #3 and #5 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart and UK Independent Albums chart respectively, #4 on the Finnish Albums chart and many more, proving that CRADLE OF FILTH continues to own the dark.
