Summary:

Black Coast ride the waves with their visceral, recently released single, Without You.

Stoke On Trent formed noisy bastards, Black Coast hit hard and heavy with the totally overwhelming new single, ‘Without You’.

To my ears it’s the most over the top song they’ve penned, point proven of it being a contagious, gruelling grinder that decimates all of your senses, leaving the listener as a quivering wreck for blasting this out at eleven volume fury and not playing it safe on volume ten. Beat that Manowar!

I’ve followed their career from gigs, written reviews and each time they raise the bar higher. It’s a certified pit opener to bring down the walls of any venue that tries to contain their fury! Job done in only three mauling minutes of jackhammer blow prowess!

They formed in 2016, following the demise of Bet It All and Dead City Souls. The idea of Black Coast came from guitarist Scott Pinnington who asked guitarist Joe Mayer, who then invited bassist Jack Beardsall, drummer Matty Clark, and finally lead vocalist, Charlie Hewitt.

Lyrics to ‘Without You’

Lyrics – Can’t quite turn it off, just the inner thoughts coming up. Still lost in the parts of the image I want to stop. On the surface, I’m worthless. On the surface, I’m worthless. Somewhere I can fade. I only wish I could make you see what I see. Falling out of frame without, Without, Without… with you.Running back to it. Just the easy way, off the grid. Pull me from this pit. Want to see a life I can live. On the surface, I am worthless. On the surface, I am worthless. Just want to bury every bit And run away from facing all the shit That sits so close to the surface — So close, So close, So close to the surface.
