May 2022 saw me review Good Times End Times by Beaux Gris Gris And The Apocalypse, their sophomore studio album released by Grow Vision Music/Devil Hills Entertainment, an electric ecletic listen and also a very rewarding one from the Orange County, California based band. My favourite track on the album ‘Watching The World Fall Down’ has just been released on all digital platforms backed by two eye and ear popping videos.
A vertical version is optimized for viewing on platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram that focuses on the magical World the video creates and a wide version is optimized for YouTube for a warts and all peak behind the scenes.
It’s a beautiful song to say the least as it picks up any sunshine left from the summer to brighten it up. An angelic lead vocal from Greta Valenti is backed by superhuman riffs. The verses are the calm before the storm of the majestic choruses that hit hard and heavy, especially when a guitar solo from Robin Davey rushes in.
