Zebedy – Exist (CD)

[media-credit name=”Zebedy” align=”aligncenter” width=”2048″][/media-credit]

Zebedy are a 4 piece band from the Conwy area, combining the best of metal, indie and prog rock they are producing some of the most exciting sounds coming from North Wales right now.

Sounding like a heavier, more metal version of the mighty Kings of Leon it is only a matter of time before this band end up being snapped up by a major record label ~ they have already been featured on BBC Radio Wales and had their recent Bands on The Sands battle of the bands winning set recorded by Anglesey’s Mon FM Radio Station.

From start to finish this album is full of pleasant surprises mixing stunning guitar work coupled with catchy lyrics.

The album also contains four “bonus” tracks including a track (“The Fallen”) from the follow up album.

Highlights of this great debut album: For All, Empty Frames and the early Texas sounding Sunshine and Butterflies (featuring Amy Harding-Smith doing vocal duties)

All in all this is a superb debut album which if you are a fan of Coldplay or Kings of Leon or that vein of rock music you really need to check out.
