Summary:

Harmonica overload is the name of the game here as Will Wilde threatens to destroy his instrument with a majestic delivery in his latest single 'Girl's Got Soul.

Welcome back to the lungbusting prowess of Will Wilde who has just released his ‘Girl’s Got Soul’ single, taken from his latest album ‘Blues Is Still Alive’ album via Vizz Tone Label Group. His harmonica playing is not of this planet, point proven by his latest single.

It’s a good old tub thumper that flies along on a barroom boogie inducing hoedown, ending up in a brawl in the car park! It’s a song that you never want to end. His backing band lock in tight for a song that you never want to end as Will lets rip midway for a lungbusting harmonica solo and full on outro.

Released in February 2025, Blues Is Still Alive, reached #5 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Chart and hitting the #1 spot on the IBBA Chart. A highlight of the record is Wilde’s intense harmonica style, which pushes the boundaries of blues rock. Guitar legend Walter Trout, who features on the album, calls him: “The best harmonica player on the planet.”

The new video for ‘Girl’s Got Soul’ features backing vocals by Lindsey Bonnick (Brave Rival), Brave Rival alumni Chloe Josephine, and Will’s sister, acclaimed blues artist Dani Wilde.

“This song is for all the women who get up and dance at our gigs. We see you -keep dancing!” says Wilde.
