Since forming in 2012 VANITY DRAWS BLOOD have been honing their craft of atmospheric metal which will be finally unveiled to the world with their debut EP Perspective / Dread.

Ferocious low-tuned instrumentation, chaotic rhythms and guttural vocals combine with a backdrop of ethereal soundscapes to create the haunting aura that surrounds VANITY DRAWS BLOOD. The horror concept EP Perspective / Dread serves as a concise and powerful introduction to the band, showcasing the level of detail and intricacy of musicianship, but also their talent of amalgamating diverse ideas to make something new.

VANITY DRAWS BLOOD’s atmosphere lends itself perfectly to their theatrical performances. Described by many as a thoroughly visceral experience, the VANITY DRAWS BLOOD live show has become one of the underground’s best kept secret, but also one that’s earned them some hefty touring slots. As well as supports with Dream On Dreamer and Upon A Burning Body, the band toured Europe extensively in 2015 with Legend, Empires Fade and In Archives, before heading straight back out on another run with We Came As Romans, To Kill Achilles in the Baltic states. Hungry to keep up the momentum, they hit the road in March 2016 with Sea of Treachery, Nexilva and Monasteries, having just finished recording the EP.

Make sure to catch one of the UK’s most creative and diverse metal bands this summer.
