Summary:

The House We Built have just reinforced themselves with their shout it out from the rooftops new single 'Coming Home To You'.

Welcome back to the Scarborough based, noisy buggers, This House We Built as they,ve just self released ‘Coming Home To You’, second single taken from a brand new studio due in late Autumn. I’ll admit to being caught out with this one as they’ve taken a step back to unleash a power ballad with balls, point proven by an anthemic like vibe from tear jerking verses, earworm guitar lines and big fat juicy riffs, especially when a molten metal solo cuts through on the three minute mark to keep the air guitarists on their toes. Job done, and now I can’t wait to review the album!

The song is about turbulent relationships and insecurities but also the coming together and fixing whatever problems we have, rebuilding and resolving!

Originally, the video was set to be filmed in an old aircraft hangar, but unforeseen circumstances forced a last-minute location change. Frontman Scott Wardell explains:
“We had the whole crew ready to go, and then the day before, the location fell through. Luckily, we called Sledmere House, where we previously shot ‘Fly Me Up To The Moon’, and they graciously allowed us to use their church again. Also helping us out was Paul, Tom & Henry from Pulse Audio Visual who pulled out all the stops. We can’t thank them enough. We got the shoot done, and we’re really proud of the result. We hope you love the video as much as we do.”

It’s been a Breakout Summer for This House We Built, winning over crowds at major UK festivals including Call Of The Wild, Love Rocks, Wildfire, SOS Festival, and most recently, Maid of Stone Festival. Their energetic performances and throwback rock sound have earned glowing praise from the music press.

Speaking about the upcoming album, Scott adds:
“The new album is really sounding strong with a very varied balance of tracks which hopefully showcase what we’re about.
All the band have really knuckled down and have all put 100% into every beat and note, we cannot wait for you all to year where we are now. “
