Summary:

Taken from their upcoming second album 'Force Of Nature', These Wicked Rivers heavy things up with 'The Riverboat Man', an exceptional piece of hard rock!

These Wicked Rivers are more of a tidal wave than a river as they surge into 2024 with ‘The Riverboat Man’, a recently released third single taken from their sophomore album ‘Force Of Nature’, released via Fat Earth Records on March 1st, and judging by its quality, bodes well for the rest of the album.

I think it’s one of their heaviest musically and also lyrically, point proven by verses that grind along on a monolithic main riff and truly uplifting choruses that deliver a powerful message and nirvana is reached from a midway, wah-wah drenched guitar solo, closing on repeated choruses to hammer this song home with aplomb!

They have three dates between February and March, then undertake their ‘Peace, Love And Lampshades’ nine date headlining UK tour in May, so catch them while you can.

Vocalist/guitarist John Hartwell states of ‘The Riverboat Man’, “On the surface it’s a story, but, as always, it goes much deeper than that. Rich in metaphor, it explores darkness and light within us all. It’s a blast to play live and it’s been great to see such positive reactions to it at our present shows”.
