SKINLESS Premiere New Music Video for “Flamethrower”

NY death metal die-hards SKINLESS have just premiered a savage new video for their track “Flamethrower,” taken from the 2015 record Only The Ruthless Remain. The video (created by Chris Delano) features war-torn clips from authentic battle footage and from movies such as Aliens and Stalingrad mixed with live footage of the band performing at Hellfest 2015. MetalSucks called the video “a pyromaniacal clip that would surely please Beavis & Butthead,”.

SKINLESS released Only The Ruthless Remain, their first album since 2006, last July to widespread critical acclaim from a broad range of publications. In celebration of the release, the band performed a number of US shows for the first time in years, and will be revealing more info about live performances soon.

Info/Bio:
The beast called SKINLESS was brought forth in 1992 by guitarist Noah Carpenter with one goal: to be the heaviest band around. In 1998, SKINLESS released its full-length debut Progression Towards Evil, which stunned the underground, showcasing the energy that the band had become known for via its intense live performances. A deal with Relapse Records later ensued, and three more bludgeoning platters of death metal were served up between 2001 and 2006: Foreshadowing Our Demise, From Sacrifice To Survival, and Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead.

SKINLESS returned to action with its classic formation in 2013 and also added a second guitarist, Dave Matthews, into the mix. A fifth full-length album, and the band’s first in eight years, detonated via Relapse in June 2015. With Only The Ruthless Remain, SKINLESS has returned stronger than ever with a prime slab of brutal death metal. Chock full of the band’s signature, skull-crushingly heavy grooves and technical, blasting severity, Only the Ruthless Remain has already seen widespread positive reception from publications like Decibel, MetalSucks, and Terrorizer, and is sure to be one of the most talked about death metal albums in years.
