Ridgefest announcement number 5

A little different this one, because its not just bands.
Everyone knows a band no matter how good, can only sound rocking if they have the right equipment behind them, and with that in mind it gives us massive pleasure to announce the mighty Blackstar Amplification have agreed to supply our back line guitar cabs.
Having heard what a wall of Blackstars sound like at Hard Rock Hell, Hammerfest and many other rock festivals, we know we choose the right partners in this little venture.
Huge thanks to the guys at Blackstar for sharing our vision and providing our sound /,,/
Damnation Angels.
Signed to Massacre Records one of Germanys largest indie labels, and strict rock and metal only labels at that.
DA caused a few waves with their debut album ‘Bringer Of Light’ so much so that Radtone Records Japan swept in to secure the rights to the album in Japan.
Sounding like dare we say Nightwish when they where good DA will be a massive addition to Saturday nights line up.
And with a brand new album that was kickstarter funded in less than 12 hours to be released very soon, we are sure that Ridgefest will be one of the first gigs to hear the new stuff.

MASCHINE
Signed to the huge Inside Out Music, we were lucky enough to catch Maschine on the Inside Out Showcase tour during October and November 2014 featuring Haken, Leprous and Maschine, and we knew we had to work with them again.
Inside Out puts a lot of faith in Maschine being the newest of the new wave of Prog that has become popular to a new audiance with bands such as Opeth, The Pineapple Thief, Haken and Riverside.
Maschin’s debut album ‘Rubidium’ earned them great critical acclaim as well as quite a few personnal awards, Luke Machin won 3rd place in the Classic Rock Societys guitarist of the year poll.
Reign Of Sirius
Unsigned and Macclesfield based, formed with the Drummer of an old Ridgeback Rock Favorite Silent Slave..
Reign of Sirus look like Bigelf but sound like Evil Nightwish !
A new band on the scene but a band that RRP would like to see grace a larger stage.
We said from the very start that this fest would have the larger Euro label bands and the unsigned local talent.
In this announcement we think we have proved our point.
Hopefully you will all agree with us.
So that’s announcement 5 folks, a supreme Amp maker, a huge indie label band, a large indie label band, and the new boys that deserve a bigger audiance, let us know what you think !
