Portland, Oregon’s LORD DYING released their new album entitled Poisoned Altars, earlier this week via Relapse Records. Poisoned Altars is available in CD/LP/Digital and a Special Silver Colored LP for Relapse Records 25th Anniversary. Order your copy of Poisoned Altars HERE. The digital iTunes version is available HERE. The album was recorded with Toxic Holocaust’s Joel Grind (Black Tusk) at Audiosiege Studios in Portland, OR. Poisoned Altars is direct result of the relentless work the band put in the past 18 months grinding it out on the road touring non-stop with the likes of Red Fang, Black Tusk, Corrosion of Conformity, Valient Thorr and more.
Recently the band completed work on a video for the title track of Poisoned Altars. The video was co-directed by Danger Ehren of Jackass fame and Brett Roberts. Today the video receives its exclusive premiere on Noisey. The video includes cameos from members of Red Fang, Thrones, Yob, Witch Mountain and more. Check out the video HERE.
“The video is a homage of 80’s horror and Sci-Fi movies pitting dirt bags vs. yuppies. In Portland we keep seeing our favorite hangs getting bulldozed for condo’s to go up and we wanted to return the favor,” states front man Erik Olson.
Poisoned Altars can be streamed in full on LORD DYING’s bandcamp page.
