Fireheart-DEBUT-EP- Review-Planetmosh

It’s here! It’s almost here as Fireheart will release their five track debut EP Rise, via Earache Digital Distribution on November 14th 2025. It precedes two aleady released singles, now the flames burn brighter with these other three songs.

A volcanic heat skin flayer heralds the first EP track, Wild Hearts ; Wild Nights. It’s a bonafide banger as it explodes for a full on metal assault from the first note, careering off on a call to arms vibe. Loads of ‘Whoa oh oh’s add to the bombast and a Rickenbacker bass guitar blast is truly seismic!

‘I Don’t Need A Best Friend’ has powerful lyrics throughout that pulls no punches as abrasive riffing slash and thrash for this incendiary hate fuelled monster that taked a step back in the caustic choruses.

‘(Good Is) Good Enough’ has a skin shivering eerie intro for this ballad with balls that elevates into the stratosphere, along with monumental choruses that soar with aplomb, closing on a fretboard melting outro.

My EP highlight is ‘An Hour To Forget’, mainly from the apocalyptic drum patterns to surely put the recording needles in the red. Melody with muscle makes for double trouble, point proven by sugar sweet choruses and guitar heroics.

This very impressive EP closes on I’m Not Dreaming’ as an adrenaline rushed intro took my breath away as early bombast shows their songwriting suss shoots from the hip throughout another metal melee. Shimmering melodies add extra verve for one last vocal masterclass!
