Brave Rival, the musical sensation known for their debut album “Life’s Machine” and electrifying live performances, is embarking on an exciting new chapter. Following two years of captivating tours and critical acclaim, the Blues Award Nominated band is thrilled to announce the launch of their Kickstarter campaign for their highly anticipated second album.
Since the release of “Life’s Machine” in 2022, Brave Rival has embarked on an extraordinary journey, earning praise from notable figures like Joe Bonamassa, who referred to them as “one of my favourite discoveries this year.” Classic Rock Magazine’s Dave Ling also exclaimed to “Watch their ascension continue!” Along with their dedicated fanbase known as “Bravians,” the band has evolved together and is now poised for a new era.
During their extensive travels across the country, Brave Rival has connected deeply with their passionate fans, who have shared their personal battles with mental health. These stories have inspired the band’s upcoming album, infusing it with newfound energy and authenticity that mirrors their electrifying live shows. Producer Tarrant Shepherd will guide them in the studio when recording begins in January.
Brave Rival invites both loyal fans and newcomers to join them on this thrilling journey as they aim to create music that speaks to the hearts of their devoted Bravians and the world at large. Chloe says “Album two will have a refreshed and fiery energy behind it because the process is going to be more dynamic and free”.
Lindsey explains, “We are so excited! The studio is where we get to shut ourselves off from the outside world and totally immerse ourselves in our music and the creative process.”
Billy adds, “The last year has been like a bullet train. We have been non-stop touring all over the country, and every chance we get, we have been writing new songs and ideas. We have amassed over 20 new songs that will need to be shortlisted down to what will ultimately become album 2.”
Ed shares, “After seeing how great Kickstarter was for our debut album ‘Life’s Machine,’ we just knew we had to do the second album in the same way. It helped us connect with our fans, and sharing the process with our Bravian family was really something special.”
Donna concludes, “The new Kickstarter is going to allow fans the chance to back the band and pre-order their signed copy of album two, but also the chance to secure some one-of-a-kind Brave Rival goodies. There really is something for everyone!”
The band’s music often delves into the theme of mental health, drawing inspiration from their own experiences and the brave fans they’ve met along the way. They describe their sound as a blend of classic rock with the depth of blues and the spirit of soul.
The upcoming Kickstarter campaign offers fans the opportunity to support the band, access exclusive content, including interactive rewards like an exclusive quiz night with the band, the opportunity to lend your vocals to one of the album’s tracks, and the chance to have the band perform in your own home! Secure a signed copy of their second album and unique Brave Rival merchandise.
