Welcome back to Mad Haven as they return in the blink of an eye with new single ‘Wasted On You’, following the recent ‘Take Control’. The North Wales based original trio rock band played their first gig in two years last night at the Motorsport Lounge in Llandudno, supported by Stoke based ‘No Favors’.
It’s not quite as bombastic as ‘Take Control’, but still slams hard and heavy around a poignant intro that chugs along in the verses, forging along to the headbanging, drum driven choruses, addressing the subject of love lost. A guitar heavy midsection ups the heaviness ante, closing on a drum bombast, beefing up the power until these four fiery minutes close on a whisper. Job well and truly done!
