Given that they’ve been around in one form for eight years, it is understandable that this debut offering from south Wales trio Kamasupazundown should be an accomplished and mature offering, especially in the songwriting and musical ability stakes.
And that is certainly true: but, the problem is that it seems to want to be all things to all people, with its style veering from its underpinning desert stoner roots to alt-rock to indie just a bit too much to maintain overall consistency.
However, Kyuss fans will find enough in these 12 songs to keep them occupied for a while…
