Introducing: FIVE MILES NORTH OF NOWHERE | To release new EP Less Talk, More Action on October 30

In a world where punk rock does not have as much bite as it did when Millencolin andRefused first hit the scene in the 1990s, a group of five friends from Southampton are trying to change that.

Five Miles North Of Nowhere have been making music that makes you want to get angry, run around, and stick it to whoever is giving you trouble since 2011 by mixing the likes of Every Time I Die with Refused.

Leo Troy (of electric-banana.co.uk) said: “Smashin together the cocksure swagger ofEvery Time I Die with the whiskey-drenched barrage of Cancer Bats, and blkending it all up with the jagged-angular riffs of Refused and Gallows, the band creates the sort of music that should be soundtracking some kind of reckless chaotic riot.”

Having release single ‘Set It Off’ earlier this year to great reviews, the band are now gearing up to release their new EP, Less Talk, More, Action, on October 30, with a mystery single and video from the EP set to come next Monday (October 5).
