Black Nevada-Make A Scene Festival on 15th August 2015

In my many years of loving music and attending concerts of all types of genres and artists, I have not yet seen a band with more  enthusiasm and stage presence then that of Black Nevada. The 5 piece band from North-East England played at Make A Scene Festival on 15th August 2015, playing with the likes of Don Broco, Malevolence and ROAM.

Everyone loves bands from their local scene, makes them feel a sense of pride in their local area when they perform and do well, and these guys knock it out of the park with every performance they do.  Jordan Bailey, the lead vocalist, definitely puts his all into every song he performs, engaging with the audience as well as focusing on the lyrics and the songs themselves.

We could see as soon as they introduced themselves and the first song kicked in, the crowd was jumping and being engaged with the band, straight from the first bar. The crowd support could also be noticed by the number of people wearing their Black Nevada T-Shirts, which was brilliant to see.

‘Voices’ was a brilliant track to hear live, full of brilliant, stand out guitar parts, the enthusiasm in this song just leaps from the stage, all 5 of them enjoy the moment together and show case is brilliantly therefore the crowd enjoys it too, it was so good to see.

The 5 piece band have launched a kickstarter campaign for their next EP to be created and the support already has been very well recognised by the band, and we wish them the best of luck in raising the money for their next EP, as we know for a fact that it is going to be brilliant. This is definitely a band to watch throughout the remainder of 2015 and through 2016, there’s only bigger and better things to come from them.
